Finding Mindfulness in the New Year
With a new year approaching, and the looming expectations of new goals, staying on track, and becoming bigger and better, exhaustion has already crept it’s way in. To combat the feeling of needing to constantly improve I designed a monthly mindfulness journal to keep things simple.
Instead of worrying about finding new innovative ways to become someone else, I decided it’s easier- at least for me personally, to digest something a bit more concise. I like to keep it light and easy when I journal, which helps to ease the doom of missing a prompt, or the feeling of failure when inevitably life catches up to you because you can’t tackle everything at once.
In this mindfulness guide I created a simple layout for each month of the year, with a space to journal and reflect on the last month, a space for releasing and receiving, and a space to sit back and maintain gratitude- something that keeps me grounded in the present moment and able to feel intentional in my journaling. Each month also has 4 weekly check-ins to jot down your wins and your next steps for personal goals. This digital journal is also undated, allowing you to jump in whenever you feel you need to get back on track, guilt free of missing a day, as well as lined with various note pages for added space to write.
Use this journal to begin your journaling process, find your way back to center, or just as a weekly refresh.
You can download the digital version of this guide here, which you can fill out both on screen or print.
Happy journaling.
